We are looking for an exceptional person to lead the School of Organisations, Systems and People (‘OSP’) within the Faculty of Business and Law into the next stage of its growth and development.

**About the role**

The new Head will be a member of the Faculty's Executive Team and will contribute to shaping, developing and implementing the Faculty's Strategy.

Responsible for managing department operations and providing effective leadership for both staff and students, the Head will shape staff development and well-being. This includes staff recruitment and development, as well as promoting excellence in scholarship and the advancement of early career colleagues.

The Head of the OSP School will lead student recruitment, as well as leading the development of curricula across the School's courses to foster an innovative, transformative and enabling education for students.

On this basis, we seek someone who has a keen understanding across the domains of research and teaching, and who can demonstrate significant leadership experience including budget and resource management skills.

**About the School**

The School is one of four that comprise the Faculty, with around 95 academic staff and well over 1,000 students.

The School brings together diverse areas of research. These include HR management and leadership, workplace learning and development and research concerning logistics, operational research and analytics.

The School has a varied course portfolio. It is the home of undergraduate Business and Management as well as offering degree apprenticeships, professionally accredited courses and large Master’s courses in Project Management and Digital Business Management.
