We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable and trusted insurance company who are looking for a knowledgeable and communicative Head of Claims to join their team. Our client are a passionate and ambitious team who provide exceptional services to thousandsof people throughout the UK.

Primary role and attributes of the Head of Claims will be:

- Drive and deliver targets in a B2B and B2C environment
- Ensure company standards are met at all times
- Provide technical guidance, leadership, and motivation to team members
- Innovate and engage with all areas of the business operations to gain maximum exposure in a commercially effective way
- Review claims strategies, produce data, and liaise with Insurers and Claims TPA's
- Participate and contribute to the Management Team
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on all areas of claims activity

Essential skills to succeed in this role:

- Previous experience in the Veterinary industry as a Veterinary professional is essential
- Effective relationship builder and a dynamic professional
- Ability to coach and develop a team
- Ability to interpret claims trend analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Public Liability Claims would be desirable
