Our client, an exciting and growing business are currently looking to recruit a proven, successful Human Resource Manager at their site in Smethwick.

The purpose of the HR Manager is to strategic focus for ongoing HR development including talent strategy and identifying current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning

Other duties are to include:

- Manage delivery of HR services across the business
- Lead senior members of staff in the business with HR support to the employees
- Induction for new starters
- Carry out monthly audits on HR systems
- Managing absence policy and staff attendance (current systems are WhosOff and SwippedOn)
- Return to work interviews / obtaining fit notes / communicating with long term absentees
- Staff handbook maintenance and management
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues (complaints/grievance)
- Updates re: employment law (attend webinars/events)
- HR admin and filing
- Also to include strategic tasks such as _
- Develop, maintain and encourage a culture among staff that supports continuous quality improvement, collaboration, respect, and accountability
- Implementing the Brand Behaviours as part of our Cultural Strategy
- Implementing and managing an ad-hoc staff recognition process
- Probation Reviews & Action Plans
- Career road-mapping (creating training plans and budgets)
- Co-ordinating Future Growth process
- Managing the Apprenticeship programme
- Provide coaching on HR matters to senior management
- Lead recruitment process as directed by the Leadership Team - including liaising with agencies and tailoring interview/assessment processes
- Creating internal referral policy/framework
- Experience and initiative to develop new ideas within the HR framework to improve employee engagement
- Strong administrative skills
- CIPD Qualified preferred
- Vast experience with generalist HR remit
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Be experienced in a similar role - Ideally HR Management or similar
- Excellent communication skills

Salary will be £35,000
