**If so, we would like to talk to you **Bristol City Robins Foundation is a registered charity, which strives to make a positive difference for all through sport and learning. We recognise the positive impact we have on the community but are continually looking to develop and expand our reach. We require a part-time sports lecturer working in the Education Department for our Post 16 BTEC Football Education programme. The post holder will be based in our City Academy Education Centre. **Your Main Responsibilities**:

- To enthuse, motivate and engage with young people.
- To deliver around 12 hours of BTEC Level 2 or 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (RQF) course to a group of around 20 students. This includes planning and marking, as well as reporting progress to parents and school partners.
- To deliver engaging football sessions twice per week to our football teams and manage the football team in the football league every Wednesday.
- To increase the number of students we develop on our programme through supporting recruitment in schools, clubs and at careers events during occasional evenings.
- Engage with local schools, businesses, and organisations to build awareness of and involvement in the programme.
- To undertake appropriate continuing personal and professional development, including engagement in education programmes.
- To contribute to the timely review of the programme, ensuring its development and growth.

**You will have**:

- A teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards this)
- FA Level 1 and/or UEFA C Football Coaching Qualification or higher (or be willing to work towards this)
- A strong ability and/or experience of delivery to participants in a range of settings.
- Ability to deliver dynamic and challenging lessons and football sessions which inspire students and ensure they make rapid and sustained progress at all levels.
- Ability to provide clarity, direction and inspiration of what can be achieved for Post-16 students.
- Expect and uphold the highest standards of students to inspire students to work at target grade or higher.
- You must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- An ability to set high personal standards and work calmly and effectively in an environment characterised by a high level of ambiguity and complexity.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and purposefully with staff, students, and partners to build effective relationships.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days after 3 years of employment, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of employment (plus bank holidays and Christmas closure days)
