**Business Process Owner**

Following go-live in 2023 with the SAP implementation across the business, a new function will embed the transformational and change capabilities built up through the implementation project.

This enduring structure will underpin the company’s transformation agenda ensuring they are fit for the future by leveraging the benefits of process excellence and continuous improvement.

You will act as an advocate for change management, in conjunction with leadership teams and ensuring ways of working are embedded, while maintaining strong relationships with business leadership teams and other stakeholders - recognised as the single point of contact for business leaders.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the documentation of all processes, policies and procedures related to their specified area
- Review and agree with business stakeholders overall demand, ensuring projects and initiatives are prioritised accordingly and to make decisions regarding the profile of the portfolio plan and the demand required to deliver each release
- Line management of Business Process Analyst(S), ensuring resourcing is balanced, and that the team members are provided with clear direction and development opportunities
- Bring about opportunities for new solutions or simplification to the Business based on the direction the technology roadmap and digital transformation
- Support the Head of Business Evolution to create an overall strategy and vision for the process domain and prepare a 3year roadmap to be implemented
- Facilitate and lead the requirements gathering for the company as part of any transformation programmes and where applicable determine and negotiate the trade off - cost, quality, service, control
- Design and document best-practice processes, at Level 2, 3, 4 and 5, for all in-scope processes
- Define key performance metrics necessary to measure and monitor performance in key process areas and show improvements in these measures over time
- Work with a system integration partner to review options for process modification/simplification or necessity system customization
- Perform analysis to define cost/opportunity related to proposed customization
- Working with Peers in wider IT to standardize processes where appropriate and understand organizational and strategic direction and impact
- Facilitate alignment between development of business processes and other process domains as part of the end to end process. Maintain open communication and ensure stakeholders are managed.
- Decision maker and escalation point for complex decisions within their capability and across Process areas with other Business Process Owners
- Manages the Change Board for their Process Area
- Evaluate and implement master data requirements for successful implementation of new business process
- Works closely with Data Governance and Reporting colleagues
- Works closely with Internal Audit to drive Governance, Risk and Controls as part of the business process area
- Align and strengthen stakeholder relationships, ensuring buy - in to the changes and required improvements
- Communicate overall plan, new policy and process (change management and re-engineering) with internal stakeholders & external suppliers
- Actively lead a continuous improvement programme for process domain, testing, learning and measuring success against the process effectiveness measures

**As such we would like you to have/be**:

- Degree level qualification or equivalent level of education
- Technical expertise in their relevant business process area
- Readily demonstrates strategic and end to end systems thinking
- Proven success at weaving the Digital thread through ERP integrated solutions
- Innovation hungry - create and deliver solutions and new ways of working that will delight our customers
- Understanding and exposure to Change Management principles
- Skilled in collaborating and negotiating through complexities in a multi-party environment
- Adept at working through ambiguity to articulate a clear direction
- Excellent planning and decision making skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, challenge the status quo and build strong peer to peer relationships
- Connected to, and respected by senior stakeholders in the Business
