Seed Environmental was established in 2013 to serve the insurance market, having recently moved into the fire and flood sector, we are seeking to employ Remediation Operative to join our busy restoration team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to learn, grow and advance in the environmental/construction industry.

As a Remediation Operative you will be working under the direction of Remediation Team Leader, Contracts Manager and/or appropriate staff to carry out construction, repair, and maintenance on domestic buildings

Main duties will include;
- Supporting and assisting the Remediation Team Leader with every aspect of the works, strip out work, bricklaying, roofing, studwork, boarding, minor plumbing, kitchen installations, bathroom installations
- Identifying potential hazards; working in a controlled manner around site specific environments.
- Carrying out works in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with the collection of photographs throughout the works
- Carrying out necessary damage mitigation and restoration works to the highest standards.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site.
- Following all health and safety procedures

Qualifications and skills required:

- Previous site-based experience within the environmental remedial or construction sector would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and people skills with desire to learn new skills.
- A fully UK driving licence, and willingness to travel throughout the UK. Some staying away for work is required.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Use of power/hand tools and machinery, full training will be given.

You will gain valuable experience and skills, which may include; General building, Carpentry, Plaster patching, Painting, Ceramic tiling, Heating and plumbing.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 16:00pm

Work Location: The role is based from our Newmarket depot and will require daily travel to our sites with some staying away to cover projects.

**Salary**: £23,000 per annum
