**Floor Walker / Desktop Engineer - OUTSIDE IR35 - £200 per day**

Floor Walker / Desktop Engineer required for a 3 month assignment in Leeds. You will be assisting with a Desktop and software discovery audit. The role is based on site in Leeds with occasional remote work.
- Experience and Knowledge of Desktop technologies including Active Directory, Exchange
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office XP, 2003, 2007, 2010,
- Networking experience in WAN/LAN, VPN.
- Good communicator who can follow instructions remotely
- You will have some experience of desktop support but most importantly software discovery and auditing, as part of this. Discovery experience is key.
- You will have experience of manually recording details and asking the end users technical questions based on the information found.
- You will be able to look at the results of the audits and gather extra information for software which will include original install media and documentation of the installation and any hardware attached.
- Software Discovery & Auditing must be clearly visible on your CV.
- You must have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with users, vendors, app owners etc.
