An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Legal and Contracts team for a Project Contract Specialist. The post holder will be responsible for the contractual and legal support of JDR’s Renewables Termination and Testing projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Contract Specialist will deal with project-specific contractual matters including disputes and claims to mitigate contractual and legal risk.
- Main responsibilities of the role:

- Providing contractual and legal support throughout the duration of JDR’s Renewables Termination and Testing projects to mitigate contractual and legal risk.
- Support the Project Manager contractually and legally during the duration of the project, including the collation of information to produce contractually justified claims and writing of contractual and legal letters when required to pro-actively resolve any claims and/or disputes with the customer.
- Prioritise work to ensure contractual letters, claims and/or responses are provided in accordance with the timelines of the specific projects being supported.
- Seeking advice from Contracts and Legal department when required during the duration of the project.
- Support the Risk Management process by identifying contractual and legal risks for the projects being supported, including proposed mitigations and attendance in the Risk Review Meetings.
