PIB Group are hiring for a passionate and organised Payroll Associate who will be working as part of the People Team for the wider Group People Function. We provide Payroll, Recruitment, Employer Relations, and People Services support across all Group businesses.
The Payroll Services Team provides transactional payroll support to approximately 3,000 colleagues and managers across the PIB Group, in a high volume, fast paced environment. The role will be responsible for administration of the payroll for PIB Group and requires excellent attention to detail skills and customer service standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be the first point of contact for handling all payroll administrative queries using the Fresh desk ticketing system,
- Processes the monthly payroll, collating data from all teams, ensuring it is fully authorised and keying into the HR and Payroll system, IRIS Cascade.
- Process starters and leavers and pro-rate payments accordingly.
- Maintain payroll records for PIB colleagues by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
- Adhering to payroll policies and procedures and compliance with relevant legislation.
- At all times honour confidentiality of employees' pay records.
- Calculate and pay third party payments, and administer cycle to work, childcare voucher schemes and other flexible benefits.
- Providing information and answering colleague’s questions about payroll related matters
- Producing and distributing payroll reports to the finance department.
- Liasing effectively with the People team and Recruitment, to ensure correct employee data on Cascade.
- Calculation and input of maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave.
- Administration of company benefits through the payroll system and the flexible benefits system (Apollo), generating appropriate payroll reports and uploading the details for benefits purchased and relevant deductions.
- Ensure Pension Auto Enrolment compliance.
- Adhere to the monthly payroll schedule and task list.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested.
**Skills and Experience required**:
- Efficient Payroll Associate with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- 2 years minimum payroll experience
- Organised approach with ability to prioritise effectively.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Collaborative approach - willing and able to work with other team members to complete joint pieces of work, and team tasks
- Experience working in a fast paced, transactional environment
