We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Nurse who can rise to the challenge of working within the busy Barking and Dagenham Access Assessment and Brief Intervention Team and support the continued development of the service.

The Barking and Dagenham Access Assessment and Brief Intervention Team is the central point of initial referral and access to secondary mental health services within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham for people from the age of 18-65, who present with mental health needs. The team acts as a gateway providing initial screening and assessment of referrals that are potentially for secondary mental health services, and will provide, after assessment, short-term intervention as indicated, or signposting to other agencies as appropriate.
