Financial Planning Assistant

**The Firm**
Anderson Strathern Asset Management is a leading Wealth Management firm offering combined Financial Planning and Investment Management solutions. We seek a new member in our growing firm to provide admin support within our Operations Team.
**The Role**
Working within the busy Operations team, you will be providing day-to-day administrative support across the firm. The team are engaged in the full client life cycle and the management of this process is essential to the client experience. The role is diverse and will ideally suit someone with a proven track record of going above and beyond. You will benefit by learning and administering financial services products particularly pensions, investments, protection and trusts.
**You will be responsible for**
- Processing client documents according to AML and KYC regulations.
- Preparing meeting packs for new and existing clients including valuations, portfolio/fund performance analysis and obtaining any ad hoc supporting info.
- Processing Risk Questionnaires.
- Data input and ongoing maintenance of our Client Record Management system (Intelliflo Office) and various platforms including 7IM, Abrdn Wrap
- Handling leaving and deceased client accounts and other sensitive information.
- Processing client fees, invoices and payments as well as verifying income receipts
- Contributing to regular reporting requirements in line with MiFID regulations
- Co-ordinating mail merges and drafting general correspondence to clients, providers, solicitors etc.
- Sorting, saving and distributing mail
- Assisting in ad-hoc enquiries and project work
- Maintaining relevant industry knowledge to remain compliant with our regulatory body, Financial Conduct Authority
**What you will need to succeed**
- Experience working for an IFA firm
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Competent knowledge of core financial products such as ISAs, SIPPs, Pensions, GIAs and more
- Comfortable navigating provider platforms to obtain required information or to transact business
- A ‘client first’ attitude and being extremely proactive, motivated and organised
- Comfortable working on their own or collaboratively across the firm whether at home or in the office.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills - professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Diligent and motivated to continually achieve the firm’s objectives
- Enthusiasm and commitment to the firm
- Experience with Intelliflo Office, Standard Life Wrap and 7IM platforms.
