Junior / Trainee Payroll Administrator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious college leaver to join our expanding team in our new offices in Leeds City Centre.

AskJules was founded in 2010 and is a family-owned private limited company that provides a Lifestyle Management service. Our clients are disabled university students who with our support are able to employ their own Personal Assistants (PAs) to provide their personal, health, and social care as well as their academic support at university.

In this role, you will learn all about:
- Full end-to-end weekly payrolls using Moneysoft Payroll Manager

Calculating and checking payroll transactions to ensure accuracy, to ensure that all employees are paid correctly.

Processing new starters/leavers paperwork.

Processing SMP/SSP/SPP, auto-enrolment pension contributions, and attachment of earnings.

Working closely with the HR Department, along with other internal Departments.

Dealing with payroll and client queries.

Issuing payslips and sending out payroll correspondence.

Liaison with HMRC regarding queries.

Other ad hoc duties as required.

**Experience**:
No experience is required although GCSE in English and Maths is essential plus a minimum of three A'Levels.

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Leeds, LS1 2HH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
