To support the University in the management of our finances we are looking for an Apprenticeship & CPD Finance Officer who will be a vital member of the Financial Services team, supporting two areas of significant growth in the University, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Higher Education Apprenticeships.

The post holder will manage the complex day-to-day financial processes associated with these areas, including ensuring the timely and accurate recording of all income received; fee assessing, invoicing, account reconciliation and third-party sponsor liaison. In order to do this, the post holder will need to acquire a full understanding of the Apprenticeship and CPD funding regimes, from which they will, in conjunction with the relevant business units, develop and embed business processes that facilitate efficient operation of finance functions relating to these areas.

You should have strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the University to resolve cross-team issues, as well as with third parties and a good team worker as well as being able to work on own initiative.
