**About the role**

Standing Together is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate professional to join our expanding Housing team. We are delighted to have been awarded funding from MOPAC/GLA to build on our pilot work developing an accreditation framework specifically for homelessness and supported accommodation organisations. We are looking for someone with experience working in frontline homelessness/supported accommodation services, to lead on the ongoing development and roll-out of this new accreditation service.

**Purpose of the role**

The role of the DAHA Homelessness & Supported Accommodation Accreditation Lead is to promote and lead on the work around our new DAHA accreditation framework, for homelessness and supported accommodation organisations.

The framework was developed to support homelessness and supported accommodation organisations improve their domestic abuse response. The project began in April 2022, and so far has four organisations working towards accreditation as pilot sites, with further organisations joining the project from April 2024 as early adopters. The role is funded through MOPAC and Greater London Authority until March 2025, as part of the Pan-London Accommodation Based Support for Victims/Survivors of Domestic Abuse Strategy, in response to Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act which means, principally the aim is to roll out the accreditation across London.

**About Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse**

Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse (STADA) is a UK charity bringing communities together to end domestic abuse. We support organisations, including community and faith-based partners, criminal justice partners, housing, social services, healthcare workers and charities, to identify and respond effectively together to domestic abuse. Our aim is to help these communities, services, and agencies to work in partnership, so that people receive the best support at the time they need it. We do this through an approach that we pioneered, called the Coordinated Community Response (CCR). The CCR brings services together to ensure local systems truly keep survivors safe, hold abusers to account, and prevent domestic abuse.

Our model of a coordinated local partnership to tackle and ultimately prevent domestic abuse is now widely accepted as best practice.

**About the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA)**

The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) was established in 2014 as a partnership between three agencies who are leaders in invocation in address domestic abuse within housing: Standing Together, Peabody and Gentoo housing associations.

Our mission is to enhance the UK housing sector’s status within the coordinated community response (CCR) to domestic abuse by transforming how they respond to domestic abuse so that victims/survivors have a home where they are safe and live fear free. We achieve our mission through DAHA membership, accreditation, regional group facilitation, and training for housing providers and local authorities, as well as national policy influencing through our National Housing and Domestic Abuse Policy and Practice Group.
