This is a 14-month fixed term position for a senior Orthotist to be involved in all aspects of orthotic care. The role is for a clinician willing and able to take on a complex case load, involves multidisciplinary working in a range of areas including spinal, neurological, diabetes, foot and ankle and paediatrics. The role involves supervising junior staff as well as input into the continued development of the service to constantly improve the service provided to patients. The role also includes teaching both internally and externally to other health care professionals.

Working for our organisation
- The orthotics department at NUH is an in-house Orthotics department with a workshop; there is a team of 10 Orthotists, 6 technicians and 7 administrators. The department aims to provide the most efficient and effective care to patients possible. To set new standards in orthotic treatment and constantly improve to meet the demands of our users and commissioners.- Nottingham University Hospital is a regional Trauma and Spinal centre, is one of the largest teaching hospitals in the United Kingdom.Detailed job description and main responsibilities

- BSc in prosthetics and Orthotics
- Evidence of broad post graduate training and experience
- HCPC registration

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
