We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our happy team in delivering excellent early learning and childcare for little ones aged 3 months
- 5 years. Ideally applicants should have a sound knowledge of current childcare best-practice and provision, however training and refresher are also an option if required,

Role requirements:

- HNC in Early Education and Childcare/ SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) (SCQF level 7) or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of Curricular areas for preschool children and pre-the birth to 3 curriculum
- comfortable being outdoors with children in all weathers and the ability to support staff to work comfortably in an outdoor environment;
- Evidence of on-going professional development and CPD;
- Strong communication skills;
- Strong organisation skills;
- Strong time management skills;
You must be able to:

- work in effective partnership with staff, parents and professionals
- act as a positive role model
- establish positive, trusting relationships with all children
- contribute towards responsive planning and in-room paperwork
- effectively manage children's behaviour
- help to monitor and maintain the environment, ensuring the equipment is safe, the setting is well resourced, and standards of hygiene are high
- ensure safety procedures for children and staff are practised at all times
- support staff in issues of safeguarding and follow appropriate procedures
- liaise and encourage parent / carer involvement, offering support, advice and signpost where necessary
- liaise with outside agencies as appropriate

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time

Expected hours: 25 - 50 per week
