Cancer Mdt Coordinator

The MDTC role is pivotal in ensuring timely patient progression through diagnostic and treatment pathways, both to ensure a good patient experience as well as ensuring our Trust continues to attain a high performance against National Cancer Waiting Times standards. Experience working within the NHS preferably within a cancer data environment is desirable along with an understanding of current cancer pathways and MDT processes.
To coordinate successful multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings in order to achieve the national Cancer Waiting Times (CWT) standards, to collect Cancer Outcomes and Services Dataset (COSD) information for patients with cancer diagnoses and to collect national cancer audit data.
To ensure that MDT meetings run effectively and are well structured. To ensure patients are discussed according to evidence-based protocols and that the MDT meetings meet the requirements of the Trust’s MDT SOP
