**The role**
Oxford City Council has an exciting opportunity for someone to join their Options Team as an apprentice in support of ‘growing our own’.
Working with an innovative and professional team there will be an opportunity to learn about housing and homelessness and engage with different internal and external partners to develop excellent customer service skills.
We are looking for an apprentice who is:
- Enthusiastic about learning new skills
- Adaptable and a team player
- Keen to contribute to the success of the team and service
- Wants to make a difference to supporting others
**The Training**
The apprenticeship will guide you through both on-the-job and academic taught skills to enable you not only understand, but develop your skills as Homelessness Prevention officer. You will be assigned a manager and a mentor who will support you throughout your apprenticeship. They will ensure you gain the right experience and skills, whilst working towards your Level 3 Business Administration qualification through Abingdon and Witney college.
