**Personal assistant for Karen for 15 hours Mon-Fri Guiseley LS20 no personal care £11.30 ph**:
This job is to support Karen who has a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) and dementia (short term memory), Karen resides with her partner in Guiseley and she has 3 small friendly dogs
- Karen needs prompting with her own personal care needs such as taking a shower and dressing, however there is no direct personal care involved. One of the key roles of the PA would be to support Karen to grow in confidence when interacting with others.

**Main duties include**:

- Household tasks such as helping Karen to organise her clothes and load the dishwasher
- Support to socialise, further develop current and explore new hobbies/interests
- Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs
- Supporting the learning of new skills
- Prompt with personal care tasks (no direct personal care required)
- Ensure Karen does her daily exercises as advised by the physiotherapist

**Hourly rate and hours**:

- 15 hours Mon-Fri £11.30 per hour
