We are looking for a Trainee Insurance Clerk to join our team

A small, independent, family run Insurance Brokers in Ramsgate.

No experience necessary as full training will be given, however the successful applicant must be reliable, have a willingness to learn and a 'can do' attitude, we can teach you the rest

Your duties will include (once fully trained)

1. General Office duties, such as filing, shredding & manual post.

2. Dealing with client and insurer queries, both face to face and over the telephone.

3. Being responsible for our Personal Insurance portfolio in respect of New business and Renewals for Motor / House / Bike / Van / Travel / Gap / Motor Breakdown

You will be given the opportunity to sit the FIT exam, an entry level Insurance qualification with the option to advance further if desired.

Hours would be Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, with an hour for lunch.

Would possibly suit a school leaver looking to get into the finance sector and gain office experience.

Wages will meet minimum wage expectations.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ramsgate, CT11 9ER: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
