Pillgwenlly is an extremely exciting school to work in and is due to move to a new school site in January 2025.

The Headteacher and Governing Body of Pillgwenlly Primary School are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants who will motivate and enthuse our pupils to reach their full potential.

Our school is a large multi-cultural setting that offers a welcoming, warm and caring ethos. Providing authentic pupil-lead learning experiences is a core part of the philosophy of the school. We have a very supportive staff team and school community.
- The ability to work as part of a team

- A commitment to working with children in order for them to reach their full potential

- An excellent understanding of safeguarding principles
- Work under the guidance of teaching staff and or/members of the school leadership team
- Support individuals and groups of pupils to enable access to learning
- Assist the teacher with the management of pupils in the classroom and beyond
- Assist with pupils at break and lunchtimes
