We are seeking a digital content executive to join our marketing and e-commerce team.

In the role you will be responsible for researching and writing content for digital assets with a focus on digital marketing and SEO. You will be able to write effectively to a brief whilst reflecting company values and implementing company brand guidelines.

The role will require you to manage and implement strategies working with internal team members and external consultants, including forward planning to maximize efficiency and workflow.

Location: Teesside

**Salary**: £23,000 per annum

**Responsibilities**
- Write clear website and marketing copy to promote our products/services, with a bias towards optimising for search engines.
- Write and contribute to the help and advice centre, buying guides and landing pages for the website.
- Contribute to writing product descriptions for the website along side other content writers.
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content, and recommend new topics.
- Be able to research trends and analyse data in order to write effective and compelling content.
- Have the ability to undertake keyword research where needed to inform the content being written.
- Coordinate with the graphic designer to illustrate content where needed.
- Ensure all-around consistency following company branding (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Promote and maintain excellent relationships, adopting a customer focussed approach at all times.
- Support the development of E-commerce strategies to ensure the department continues to meet customer and business needs.

**Requirements**:

- Be office based in Stockton 5 days per week
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, writing or journalism
- Experience in content writing, digital marketing and/or SEO.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Keen attention to detail

- Ability to meet deadlines

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year
