- E is a 27 year old lady who lives in her own home in Wincanton. E is looking for a support worker to join her team. E loves animals and enjoys day trips to Longleat. E likes Harry Potter, going swimming and bowling. E enjoys going to the cinema, and playing board games; especially Monopoly E also likes to bake and watch crime documentaries and medical dramas on Netflix. E thoroughly enjoys playing on her Nintendo Switch_
- E is looking for a chatty and bubbly female support worker, who is over 21 years old, with a clean driving licence (due to E having her own mobility car/insurance). E would like support workers to have experience supporting someone with autism and an awareness of mental health._
- E is a very independent lady who uses an electric wheelchair; and some mínimal personal care will be involved._

This is achieved by creating small, bespoke, dedicated teams of people who are selected by the person supported and who work to enable the person to fulfil their goals, hopes, dreams and aspirations. We call these bespoke teams Micro-Teams.

YOU FIRST WILL:

- Pay £12.15ph from the moment you start working with us, there is no probation rate
- Weekends are paid at £12.40ph
- We pay 35p per mile for EVERY mile you travel, including commuting miles
- Sleep In duties are paid at £63.00
- We offer permanent, full time, part time and casual contracts and you can choose what works best for you and your needs
- You will have a permanent contract that provides you with guaranteed regular hours
- You will have a full induction before commencing work and this will include person specific training and shadow supports
- Each team has a Slack (virtual message board) page when you can obtain feedback and support from fellow team members and managers
- We operate a 24-hour On Call facility, so you always have access to support in emergency situations
- We do not use Zero Hour Contracts
- We provide an occupational pension
- We have an Employee Assistance Programme meaning you and your family have access to free and confidential 24-hour counselling and support
- We meet the cost of your DBS check
- You will receive full training and bi-monthly supervision
- If you are new to social care, you will be supported through your Care Certificate in paid time
- You will have the option to study for a nationally recognised Diploma
- You will have your roster 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your life Your roster will be in the form of an App

Please note that due to the specific nature of the work required for this position, it is an occupational requirement for the Support Worker to be female and this requirement is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim, in accordance with Schedule 9, paragraph 1 Equality Act 2010.

You will need to be a car driver and be able to work shifts from 10.00am one day, finishing at 10.00am the following day including sleep in on a roster basis, including every other weekend.
