About you:

- You have a passion for design and would enjoy a pivotal role in shaping and managing design in our product.
- You enjoy the challenge of staying ahead of the curve; researching and innovating approaches to design and production to ensure we continue to deliver market leading content.
- You’re comfortable managing workstreams and delivery schedules and flexible enough to adapt when needed.
- You can manage a small but talented team, working on multiple design projects and supporting the delivery of content across multiple clients and markets.
- You should be comfortable working as a part of a wider production team respecting the needs of the wider team and process and understanding the importance of positive relationships and collaborative working.
- Results-driven and able to set and work to deadlines, you will be comfortable making recommendations for change and development.
- You will engage collaboratively and creatively with third parties as well as cross-organisationally to develop, shape and maintain products; ensuring our content is reflective of stakeholder goals and in-keeping with the educational landscape.

Day-to-day, you will:

- Manage the design team, ensuring they are supported to grow and develop in their role and as creative experts.
- Work with the Content Lead and Ui Manager to review our content; the in-house design process; costs and development opportunities.
- Manage the design budget and report spending.
- Manage design production and other content projects from development through to delivery.
- Work closely with other Seniors and the Content Lead to set in-house guidelines and ensure the design team meets these standards.
- Undertake initial market research and develop scoping documents to inform new approaches to design.
- Meet regularly with the UX/UI Manager to present and agree style and design of content.
- Start to develop an understanding of the educational landscape including competitor presence, changes and expectations.
- Nurture relationships with current stakeholders while supporting in the extension and growth of the use of content across the division and wide company.

As a well-rounded Senior Learning Content Creator, your Skills and Experiences likely include:

- Experience of managing a team and supporting others in developing their career in design or video content.

Experience of working with all Adobe CC - Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.
- Experience of working with project management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to build positive relationships using tact and diplomacy to negotiate outcomes with and keep projects on-track.
- Experience delivering design projects or campaigns from concept to end point.
- Creative approach to problem solving and a self-motivated, proactive approach to work.
