**Job Overview**

Focused to ensure the efficient service of food and beverage to all guests in the food and beverage outlets and/or hotel areas. Being able to serve and explain to guests any food & beverage item on the menu including ingredients and discussing any allergy information.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
- To ensure good communication with all your colleagues and superiors
- To take food & beverage orders and serving them to guests on a timely manner
- To check guests for proper ID and serve alcohol in accordance to licence and company regulations
- To maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverages items on the menu
- To service and be responsible for your assigned section, including your own station
- To be responsible for billing/credit card/payment and collecting feedback from the guest
- To attend daily briefings from management on duty
- To clear and reset tables
- To ensure the overall cleanliness of your section and the restaurant at all time
- To ensure that all opening and closing duties are completed in allocated times to the company standards
- To carry out any reasonable request made by Management and/or the Head Chef
- To be on the floor in uniform and well groomed for the start of your shift
- To be in full uniform at all times whilst on duty and to take good care of it reporting any damage or spoilt
- To report any customer complaints and any allergy related matters to the Manager on duty
- To be competent in the use of the MICROS system at all stages of service
- Attend any meeting or training session as required by Management
- Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
- To be a Role Model & promote the 4C Hotel Group Values

**Job Knowledge & Skills**
- Previous experience in a customer facing environment, preferably within hospitality sector
- Well-presented and well groomed
- Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritise and execute tasks while being under pressure
- A consistently positive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Flexibility in working time and weekly shifts pattern
- Attend any meeting or training session as require

- Role Models the ethos of ‘hosting’
- Be an ambassador of Canopy’s “Enthusiast Culture”
- Anticipate and exceed guests needs and expectations

**To be fully conversant with**
- Fire and bomb procedure
- Health and Safety Policy
- Employee handbook
- The company security procedures
- The hotel facilities
- Licensing regulations
- Hotel operation standards and departmental procedures

**General**
- Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and provisions contained in the Employment Handbook
- Comply with the Company’s Corporate Code of Conduct
- Drive the Company values and standards required by the 4c Hotel Group

**Declaration**
