We are looking to recruit a committed, versatile and dynamic individual to work within our busy team of Health and Wellbeing Activators.

Our team focuses on the delivery of health, fitness, sport and physical activity opportunities to improve the health and well-being of adults and young people. The aim being to get more people more active, more often, whilst at the same time impacting on wider outcomes such as health improvement, youth development, physical wellbeing, mental and emotional wellbeing, community safety and social prescribing outcomes.

Working across our leisure facility sites, throughout North Lincolnshire you must be prepared to act as a mentor and exemplar of good practice to the Health and Fitness Assistants, undertake building and equipment checks and in some instances would be required to act as a keyholder at some of our smaller sites.

You will hold an accredited Level 2 exercise qualification that is recognised by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) or a Level 2 National Governing Body of Sport Qualification Level minimum, ideally in a range of sports.

You must have experience in planning, coaching, leading and facilitating innovative programmes of health, fitness, sport and physical activity with a sound knowledge and understanding of the benefits of sport and physical activity in improving health, mental wellbeing and public health outcomes. With an understanding of social prescribing, and knowledge of changing behaviour practice you must be physically fit and be prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of an ever evolving health and fitness programme.
