As a Wellbeing and ActivitiesAssistant, you will:

  • Assist in the assessment of the needs of the residents,through meeting with them, team members and familymembers
  • Support providing stimulation andexercise to residents that meet their individual needs through awide and varied activities programme including music, exercise andarts & crafts
  • Build relationships withresidents and families to gather life story information and ensurecare plans and activities are developed and updatedaccordingly
  • Spend individual time withresidents, care staff and relatives to create personalisedactivities that engage our residents and reflect their interest andhobbies
  • Assist in developing community linkswith local groups and arrange trips and excursions with varieddestinations and purposes to involve as many residents in activityoutside the Home
  • Support in the roll-out ofthe Magic Moments initiatives and encourage others to beinvolved
  • Assist in the creation of evidencingand tracking activity engagement via digital and writtenmethods
