Freight Accounts Administrator

AJW Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Logistics department as a Freight Accounts Administrator on fixed term contract of up to 12 months.
As a Freight Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our freight accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain accurate records of all freight transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
We are looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. You should be comfortable working with numbers and have a keen eye for identifying discrepancies. Additionally, you should have strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
**What you will be doing**
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all freight transactions
- Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
- Reconcile freight accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Provide support to the Logistics department as needed
