An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Consultant Clinical Lead to work in an exceptional care centre based in the Oldham, Greater Manchester area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This special health centre provide consultation, advice and treatment from consultants, specialist GPs and specialist nurses for a wide range of dermatological problems

**To be considered for this position you must hold a Full GMC Registration**

**As the Consultant Clinical Lead your key responsibilities include**:

- Work with colleagues to provide a consultant-led service with the highest standard of care
- To provide high quality care to all patients attending the Dermatology Service
- Keep patients (and/or their carers if appropriate) informed about their condition and involve them in the decision making of their treatment
- Maintain professional standards and obligations as set out from time to time by the General Medical Council (GMC) and comply with the GMC’s guidance on ‘Good Medical Practice’ as amended or substituted from time to time
- Offer support and leadership to junior medical colleagues, nursing colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team
- Work with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines
- Consulting with patients and determining skin ailments, prescribing medication, undertaking skin therapy treatment, performing skin surgery
- Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement

**The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role**:

- Previous experience working as a Clinical Lead
- Strong people management & leadership skills
- A clinical background working in Dermatology
- Commitment to clinical governance
- Demonstrate commitment and ability to teach and train clinical staff and medical and nursing students
- Effective communication skills, enthusiasm, and approachability

**The successful Consultant Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary £132,000 - £150,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 33 hours a week (Can work remotely) In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits**:
