Company Bookkeeper

We are looking for a company bookkeeper to assist the Finance Manager with the below duties. Applicants must be AAT qualified or equivalent with experience within accounts.
Main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Nominal Ledger - Preparation, inputting and processing all journals.
2. Calculation of Vat Returns and Vat Analysis/EC Sales
3. Credit Control
4. Bank reconciliations/credit card reconciliations
5. Checking nominals/processing relevant journals
6. Prepayments/accruals/WIP
7. Gross margin reporting
8. Cashflow reconciliation/monitoring and forecasting
9. Assisting with monthly and Quarterly Management Accounting
10. Production of Financial Reports i.e.: Profit and Loss/Trial Balance/Balance Sheets
11. Assisting Accounts Manager with month end supplier payment run
12. Overseeing expenses
13. Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported
15. Inputting receipts in the financial system
16. Setting up new customers & projects on Xero/Sage
17. Processing statements
18. Arranging time sheet authorization and recording manhour allocation
19. Responsible for accurate processing of various weekly/fortnightly/monthly payrolls
20. Calculating overpayments
21. Processing EYU’s
22. SSP, SPP, SMP payments
23. Dealing with queries from employees & subcontractors
24. Ensure compliance with statutory legislation
25. Setting up manual payments to PAYE employees where required
26. General admin assistances across the business where required.
**Salary**: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
