**Job Purpose**:
To provide support to the Group companies through timely and accurate handling of parts and stocks. To maintain accurate records relating to goods received and despatched and ensure that all paperwork is dealt with appropriately. To maintain a clean work environment that is well controlled. Work within a team to achieve all targets asked of you whilst maintaining the highest quality standards possible under tight time constraints.

**Key Objectives**:

- Work within your team to achieve all production and sales objectives.
- Ensure all targets are met and all relevant information is passed on.
- Schedule stocktakes to keep records current and relevant
- Review stock control and suggest improvements.
- Working to ISO quality standards in accordance with the Group’s policies
- Ensure outgoing goods are packed according to current work instructions
- To inform necessary person of stock anomalies
- Perform stock counts when requested
- Continuous inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy and to resolve any stock discrepancies as they arise
- Ensure incoming goods are received to stock within 24-hours
- Deliver goods to stores locations after receipt and inspection
- The active support and promotion of continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to Company Health & Safety policies at all times
- Effective and positive promotion of the Group at all times when dealing with suppliers and transport companies
- Operating equipment to maximise throughput, maintain quality and minimise waste
- Recommending improvements to systems and processes
- To be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Communicating faults and delays to the necessary person
- Understand the impact to the customer and business for quality failures.
- To understand the Corrective action process to prevent a recurrence of issues.
- To actively promote process improvements to reduce / eliminate waste.
- From time to time as an employee of the Group you may be asked to carry out duties outside the remit of your job description, as long as it is a reasonable request we would expect you to comply with the request.
- Assist with ad hoc work as needed.
- General house-keeping
- FORK LIFT LICENCE ESSENTIAL

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
