Our Estates & Development Service is at the heart of property management and development excellence in Wiltshire. We are the keepers of Wiltshire Council’s property portfolio, orchestrating strategic acquisitions, sales, and meticulous management.

As an Estates Surveyor here is your chance to get involved in acquisitions, disposals and to add value to Council initiatives across a diverse range of areas such as social care, climate change, sustainable transport and the Councils own affordable housing stock. Your role involves driving efficiency savings, advising other departments on property needs, and contributing to Council initiatives.

Our commitment to innovation extends to every facet of estate management. From operational offices to a sprawling 4,750-acre rural estate, we navigate complexities with skill, ensuring optimal returns from our investment portfolio with a gross rent roll of £2.5m.

We value strong interpersonal, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and coordinate workloads. A keen eye for detail to identify commercial opportunities for income growth or cost reduction is crucial.
