Jigsaw Nurseries are currently recruiting a passionate, hardworking and experienced Early Years/Nursery Practitioner to join our fantastic team at Jigsaw Nurseries on **a part-time basis/full time. **You would benefit from working your hours over 4 days with a Flexible day off each week.

Jigsaw Nurseries is situated in the heart of Balerno village community. If you aspire to outdoor learning, we are actively involved with The National Trust and our Forest kindergarten program has been running for over 5 years. Having Forest Kindergarten training would be advantageous to join our team although training can be provided.

Working in Partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council, Jigsaw Nurseries maintain extremely high levels of education and care to meet the standards required.

Knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence an understanding of GIRFEC, My World Outdoors, Space to Grow, Realising the Ambition and other supporting documents would be advantageous.

The successful practitioner will have the following qualifications, training and experience:

- Minimum HNC/SVQ3 in a relevant childcare qualification and registered with SSSC.
- Minimum 1 years experience in a childcare setting
- Experience of planning, observations and assessments.
- A good sound knowledge of Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence and GIRFEC.

**Salary**: New Living Wage

Working Pattern: 20 hours spread out over 4 days, with 1 day off per week. Hours will be 8am-1pm/36 hours over 4 days, with 1 day off per week. Hours between 7.30am-6pm
