Days and Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 / 08:30 - 17:00

Working in a team, you will be responsible for timely and accurate billing to ensure all clients are invoiced in line with standard and bespoke rate agreements, to allow for smooth cash flow management. You will raise and circulate invoices, liaise closely with internal departments and support any client enquiries. You will be tasked to work to targets which can be demanding during peak periods, therefore this role suits someone who enjoys being busy and has a keen eye for detail. Ad hoc responsibilities and additional reporting may be required by your line manager. There will also be a requirement to cover other finance roles such as Purchase Ledger during holidays and busy periods.

Main tasks include:

- Allocation of costs to internal systems and templates for a variety of product types including UK Mail, International Mail, Print, Digi-Mail and SMS
- Understanding all internal documents and client rate cards to ensure postage rates, associated levies and additional charges are always identified and applied correctly
- Raising internal queries in a professional manner when issues arise
- Being able to support team members and communicate issues constructively
- Thorough checks of all prepared costs
- Raising final Invoices and Credit Notes on SAGE 200
- Understanding VAT rates for different clients and product types
- Circulating Invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Upkeep of various internal logs and spreadsheets
- Ad hoc reporting

Desired Person Specification:

- Strong numeracy skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Good written communication skills
- Previous experience in billing/ creating invoices
- Can work within a fast-paced environment and a part of a team
- Competent in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
