**Job Profile for Mechanical Projects Manager - SEL253604**

Our Client a specialist M&E service provider based in Essex who operate across London and Home counties. A new opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical project manager.

The project manager role is to manage the efficient and economical execution of contracts under the main contract conditions to produce the maximum return to the company to promote possibilities of repeat work with clients and consultants. Work in conjunctionwith the projects team to ensure construction is carried out accurately; that quality is maintained; records are kept; abortive or defective work is avoided and that at least satisfactory progress is achieved. Provide advice, guidance and support on such mattersto the projects team, both during the pre-construction and construction phases.

**Mechanical Projects ManagerPosition Overview**
- Delivering and owning the allocated packages through the full project life cycle from initiation to handover.
- Supporting the delivery team regarding contract works, overseeing the supply chain performance. Managing internal temporary works supervisors and working alongside the designated individual.
- Working with the project stakeholders to define and develop the programme, cost plan and baseline changes.
- Ensuring delivery of the project to time, cost and quality.
- Managing the project and reporting to senior management and client teams.
- Ensuring compliance with all working practices, standards of discipline, safety and quality are maintained through familiarisation and compliance with requirements of corporate procedures.
- Interfacing with sub-contractors to ensure the scope of work and schedule requirements is understood.
- Maintaining good relationships with the client and pursue resolution of technical or conflicting project requirements so a full understanding of the client's requirements can be agreed.

**Mechanical Projects ManagerPosition Requirements**
- Responsible for ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality matters are managed on all project sites under their control.
- Providing pre-construction input to meet all contractual requirements.
- Working as a Project Manager to plan for and allocate appropriate resources as required by the site management teams.
- Input to the evaluation process of sub-contractors.
- Provide immediate and early warnings to the Director on problem issues and potential major over spends as soon as they occur.
- Close liaison with all other members of the supply chain responsible for delivering the project on time and within the budget and to the required standard as set out in the contract.

- £60-75k per annum depending on experience
