Role Description
**Key responsibilities**:

- Understand and implement the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2007 and 2021 and the National Colour Coding Scheme
- Personal safety
- Infection Control
- Care of cleaning equipment
- Cleaning standards of a dental practice
- Cleaning of designated areas and aware of non designated areas
- Following Health & Safety ,COSHH and all relevant and new regulations
- Maintaining full accurate cleaning records - daily, weekly, monthly, six monthly and annually
- Understanding and assurance of Personal Protective Equipment
- Using and handling electrical equipment
- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
- Responsibility of lone worker policy and risk assessment
- Waste management ( not handling hazardous or sharp waste)
- Current training in dental practice cleaning
- Understanding confidentiality

**Key skills and experience**:

- Previous cleaning experience in a similar role
- Understanding of COSHH regulations is desirable
- High attention to detail
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Ability to work independently
- Requirement to achieve client vetting clearance for the role
