Following fast growth and continued development, we are excited to be looking for an ambitious, inspiring and impactful Head of Property Management who will manage and scale our Property Management team. Reporting to our Head of Sales, this role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with a wealth of experience in Property Management and Leadership.

Home Made is a fast paced and exciting Property Tech company changing the industry for landlords, tenants and employees. We've developed brilliant technology and brought together a hardworking and talented team. Together, we are making the process of renting a property better for thousands of people, and this is just the beginning. In 5 years we've grown to become the ‘go to’ provider of the UK’s largest Build to Rent owners and operators, such as Grainger, Quintain Living, Get Living, Greystar, and many others, as well as thousands of private landlords.

What you'll get involved with: *
Include but not limited to
- Drive and manage the property management function, from strategy and process improvement to scaling teams
- Develop the department through project work which seeks to identify efficiency gains and improve the customer journey
- Support business development initiatives and onboard new clients with unique requirements (including process design), attending appropriate client meetings to provide property management specialist insight
- Manage day to day work allocation and set clear expectations/timelines on project completion
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all imminent policy changes pertinent to our operation. Including but not limited to; KYC checks, Tenancy Agreements, HMO’s, Gas & Electrical Safety Regulations, Landlord and Tenant Law, and Fire Safety Regulations
- Effectively manage the full HR cycle of the team (4) from recruiting, onboarding, performance management as well as training and development
- Review customer journey and reactive maintenance processes regularly to optimise productivity levels of your team
- Evaluate current and future systems to support a push towards automation wherever possible
- Ensure any escalated issues are tracked, investigated and closed in line with our business rules
- Monitor the growth of the portfolio and ensure steps are taken to retain existing clients

**About You**:

- Technically savvy and finds learning new systems intuitive
- Experience with manual and automated process design
- Demonstrated experience working in a Property Management Leadership role
- Demonstrated experience in developing teams
- Strong knowledge & experience of compliance in the lettings industry
- ARLA (or equivalent) qualified (Level 3 minimum)

**Location**:Waterloo, London (note this is a full time office based role, 1day WFH post probation)
