Jacksons Workwear Rental are a long established, family owned Lincoln company. In over 225 years of trading we have developed into a business now processing over one million workwear garments a year, through our busy laundry. This is an opportunity to work Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends, for a family friendly local company.

Monday to Thursday 7.00 am until 4.00 pm

Friday 7.00 am until 12.00 pm

39 Hours per Week
28 days holiday (based on 5 day working week) per year including bank Holidays
Pension Scheme after qualifying period
Permanent Position

General duties include:
Duties to include (but not be limited to):

- To help with soiled work coming into the goods in bay
- Be able to work alongside other colleagues in all the departments
- Assist the sorting department when there are reduced staff levels and to help improve efficiency when needed
- Understand the processes in place in sorting, mats/towels and washhouse
- Working with ABS, Railmaster System and the rest of the machinery within the department
- Liase with the office on any issues or customer queries in timely manner
- Assigning and issuing garments to specific customers
- Assist running the towel machine with another member of the team or solo
- Attaching barcodes
- Understanding the paperwork passed on from your team leader (new customers, terminations, new stock, direct sale)
- Keeping the general work area organised, clean and tidy
- Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times

General dexterity and physical fitness is required for the position.

**Salary**: £11.80 per hour
