The Dynamics 365 Finance Test Lead is a key member of the Dynamics 365 Finance implementation team. This role is responsible for leading the testing efforts of the Dynamics 365 Finance implementation, ensuring that the system meets the functional and non-functional requirements of the organization. The Test Lead reports to the Dynamics 365 Finance Project Manager and works closely with the Functional Consultants, Technical Consultants, and Business Users. You will be the only test lead on this project, and will act autonomously and will be wholly responsible for the delivery of effective testing to ensure successful outcome through go live in November 2023.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain the test strategy and test plan for the Dynamics 365 Finance implementation
- Develop core testing deliverables with our consultant partners and project team, forming a robust testing plan and co-ordinating the delivery of that plan for TalkTalk
- Work with the Functional Consultants and Business users to ensure that the test cases cover all functional and non-functional requirements of the system
- Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts for the Dynamics 365 Finance implementation. This should be done using our Microsoft Azure DevOps tool
- Coordinate, lead and be responsible for the end to end User Acceptance Testing process
- Oversee the execution of test cases and test scripts for SIT, E2E, and regression testing. The systems integrator is responsible for their execution
- Responsible for inbound and outbound integration testing during all testing cycles (SIT/E2E/UAT)
- Work with the Data Migration lead to ensure that testing cycles have relevant data migrated before the test cycle begins
- Identify, track, and report defects and issues in the Dynamics 365 Finance implementation
- Work with the Technical Consultants to ensure that defects and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Work with the Functional Consultants and Business Analysts to ensure that defects and issues are properly prioritized
- Manage and maintain the test environments for the Dynamics 365 Finance implementation
- Collaborate with the Functional Consultants, Technical Consultants, and Business Analysts to ensure that the Dynamics 365 Finance implementation meets the quality standards of the organization
- Ensure that the Dynamics 365 Finance implementation meets the user acceptance criteria
- Provide regular updates on the testing progress to the Dynamics 365 Finance Project Manager and other stakeholders

- Data Load validation testing
- Test Closure Report

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable experience in running end to end testing in major projects in a finance environment
- Strong experience of test analyst, test lead and defect management processes and skills
- In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Experience in executing functional (UAT), integration, system, and regression testing
- Experience in defect tracking and management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance is preferred
- Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar tool is preferred
