**Due to company growth, our client in Heywood, Greater Manchester, is looking to recruit an experienced Transport Operator to complete their busy team**
- You will be overseeing all the traffic operations:

- Driver/ Vehicle allocation (Planning Class 1 & 2 HGV's)
- Re-routing runs (ensure that the Company's fleet and associated resources are maximised and operating efficiently and cost-effectively)
- Making use of driver resources
- Managing their driver's runs and hours
- Updating TMS System (Mandata)
- Communicating with customers (delivering excellent customer service to all clients, ensuring that customer KPI requirements are met)
- Producing customers reports & KPI
- daily liaison is achieved with the Warehouse to ascertain delivery profiles.
- Team principles that continuously endeavour to achieve quality, improvement & high performance.

**Salary**: Circa of £35,000 PA (Depending on experience)

**Hours**:Monday to Friday (Day Shift)

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Transport Management CPC (desired)
- Three years’ experience as a Transport Planner/ Coordinator or Operator
- Experience using a Transport Management System
- Good Geographical Knowledge
- Knowledge of cost controls
- strong interpersonal skills
- Experienced in General or Group Haulage
- Computer Literate
- Team Player
