Due to expansion, we are urgently seeking an additional Full Time Operations Assistant for our office located in Tythegston, Bridgend. The role requires good sound knowledge of administrational processes, including Microsoft Office 365 (Word/Excel/Outlook), as well as the ability to help with other operational duties. We are a land management company covering the renewable, commercial and agricultural sectors. Any prior experience in any of these areas would be an advantage.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Details of position**:
As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for:

- Working directly with Managing Director and Head of Operations, to help maintain the office and keep it running smoothly.
- Carrying out other operational duties, such as quote preparation, preparing reports, liaising with staff and clients, managing diaries and booking travel arrangements.
- Preparation of H&S documents (RAMS, Risk Assessments). Including, maintaining weekly/monthly H&S checks within office and yard areas.
- Control of motor fleet documentation; including booking in MOTs, Services, LOLER & PUWER Inspections.
- Maintaining training record, and booking training courses.
- Obtaining supplier quotes to assist with client tenders.
- Updating all online Social Media accounts.
- 4-year minimum administration experience working in a similar job role
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previously supported Senior Management
- High level of accuracy with a close attention to detail
- Numeracy skills
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as this role will involve liaising with clients, staff and suppliers
- Highly organised, with excellent planning and time management skills
- Good work ethic
- Must have a “can do” attitude
- Fast Learner and methodical
- Smart and well-mannered
- Enthusiastic, flexible approach to work and working hours
- Able to follow processes
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Able to work within a team and on their own initiative
- Any other duties relevant to the position

**Advantageous to have**:

- Knowledge of managing Social Media accounts with regular updates
- Health & Safety knowledge

A real enthusiasm and willingness to learn will also be a requirement for consideration for this position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,673.00-£27,040.00 per year
