Starting: January 2024 (Temporary contract)

Monday to Friday term-time including INSET days

**Salary**: £20,000 - £24,331 FTE (actual salary £15,391 - £18,724 pro rata per annum) (_depending on experience)_

We are looking to recruit a SEND Learning Support Assistant to work across KS1 & KS2 alongside the teachers and other support staff in our Academy.

**Key Roles and responsibilities**:

- To support teachers in providing for the education and welfare of all children in the academy, taking account of their needs
- Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all children in learning and extracurricular activities
- Show professionalism by having proper regard for the ethos, policies and practices of the academy
- Consistently demonstrate the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of pupils
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other colleagues
- Be kind, caring and patient
- Have some experience in supporting children who have additional needs
- Be enthusiastic and have a genuine passion for motivating children to be their best

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Camberley, GU16 8PG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
