**Youth Support Worker**

**LOCATIONS**: Maidstone

**SALARY**: £11.05 - £12.44 per hour including holiday

**DURATION**:Temp to Perm

**HOURS**: Up to 40 hours per week

(**Early**:7.30am - 3.30pm or 8am-4pm **Late**: 1pm - 9.30pm)

**Daily Duties**
- Support those aged 16-25 with complex needs
- Provide emotional and practical advice whilst promoting independent living
- Assisting clients on visits in the community including shopping, making and attending job centre and doctor’s appointments with them when required
- Conduct initial risk and needs assessments
- Implement and update individual support plans
- Signpost clients to gain further support
- Carry out room checks as well as health and safety checks of the building

**Essential requirements**
- DBS within the last 12 months (must have original copy)

**Desirable requirements**
- Experience working with youth
- Previous residential support
