We are currently looking for a Lecturer, to teach brickwork at the City of Portsmouth College, at our North-Harbour Campus. A Lecturer play the largest part in a student's experience in education. Do you have industry experience as a bricklayer, in brickwork or in construction, but haven’t taught before? City of Portsmouth College will support you in attaining teaching qualifications on the job, provided entirely by us

**Main Duties & Responsibilities of a Lecturer**:

- To teach the college programme to students daily and provide high quality learning opportunities to them.
- To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student retention, achievement, and success.
- To contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, relevant curriculum, and pro-grammes. Curriculum Development responsibilities include actively contributing to the development of new programmes and producing annual schemes of work.
- Plan and deliver effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment.
- Identify and address Mathematics and English needs of learners and work creatively to over-come individual barriers to learning.
- Ensure compliance with Quality standards set by the College and/or Awarding Bodies.
