People & Culture Administrator

We are on course to significantly transform the later life experience in the UK with a commitment to expand our portfolio to 34 retirement villages, which equates to around 5,000 age-appropriate homes for retirees.

**The Role**:
- Providing administrative support to all P&C related functions; including People, Resourcing and Learning & Development (L&D)
- Responding positively to queries from line managers and colleagues
- Working with, and maintaining all people related systems i.e. L&D platform, HMRS, and employee engagement tools
- Processing new starters and leavers including production of employment related communications
- Administering of pre-employment checks, including employment references, DBS checking, right to work etc
- Working with line managers to ensure colleagues are up to date with their training requirements
- Processing all paperwork associated with employment changes and variations to contracts
- Assisting with creating new colleague welcome boxes, and onboarding plans
- Supporting the P&C function with any additional administrative requirements; including regular reporting, event planning and manager liaison.
**Key Requirements**:
- Previous experience with administration, ideally within a People & Culture / HR team
- Great systems experience and a confident user of MS Office
- Studying towards CIPD would be desirable, but not essential
- Keen eye for detail with a strong ability to identify process improvement and suggest best practice solutions.
**The Offer**:
- Up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 37.5 hours per week; but we would consider applicants seeking part time opportunities
