**Assistant Compliance Officer - Permanent, Full Time**

Are you someone who has detailed and current knowledge of the PRA/FCA and other rules and guidance?

Are you someone who has good working knowledge of the financial services industry with an emphasis on insurance and associated procedures?

**The role**
- To ensure that the necessary regulatory and governance requirements for the NPA Group of companies are identified, implemented and adhered to.
- To deliver reporting to Head of Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit, external regulators, ExCo, managers and the operation.
- To provide advice and guidance to the Head of Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit, ExCo, managers and the operation.
- To set and monitor polices against regulatory requirements and providing pro-active support for the delivery of the business objectives of the group companies and to undertake quality assurance activity.
- To manage the product governance process.

**Key facts**

**Hybrid-working pattern**: Home working blended with at least 1 day per week working at the NPA’S Head Office, just outside of London.

**Availability**: Immediate or very short notice

Your key attributes:

- 3 -5 years’ experience of working in a compliance role
- Detailed and current knowledge of the PRA/ FCA and other rules and guidance
- Good working knowledge of the financial services industry with an emphasis on insurance and associated procedures
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with internal and external parties, and experience of dealing directly with regulators
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
