**About the role**
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Staffordshire T3 Stars Young Persons Substance Misuse Team
- As the Youth Offending Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work with some of our most vulnerable young people in Staffordshire alongside Staffordshire Youth Offending Service that are linked to antisocial behaviour and substance misuse and at risk of offending behaviour.**Responsibilities include**:

- Work flexibly within an agreed number of hours of work including evenings and weekends where required to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.
- An expectation of the role is that the YOS Co-ordinator will carry a caseload.
- To liaise with relevant colleagues preparing evidence-based reports, and maintain accurate, up to date records in accordance with organisational guidelines and procedures.
- Delivery of partnership training working alongside Humankind Staffordshire family service and YOS
- Lead facilitation of group work and targeted drop-in sessions and joint working with YOS Prevention for identified groups of young people linked to antisocial behaviour, substance misuse and at risk of offending behaviour
- To provide and contribute to ongoing assessments, including risk assessments, safeguarding assessments, plans and recovery plans.
- To provide effective coordination of the young person’s recovery plan and promote family, carer, and service user involvement.
- Contribute to maintaining safe systems of work and a safe environment including supporting the T3 Stars management team as required
- To attend Multi-agency Child Exploitation panel meetings and complete Risk Factor Matrix for young people at risk of exploitation
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade and spirit of the post
- Undertake continuing professional development including participating in supervision, performance reviews and attending training as/when required.
- Work in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies & procedures, and guidelines - both internal and external.
- Keep abreast of policy and professional development within your area of professional expertise.
