**Journalist - Financial Markets**

We are an established London-based B2B media company seeking a Journalist with strong editorial skills in a new position to work across three related niche finance brands. Two are established the third related brand is a new launch.

We are looking for a journalist with knowledge of B2B work in finance with a minimum of 2 years experience in journalism and editorial content.

The role will involve writing and producing daily news, creating features and helping in the organising and running of the related events including awards, webinar hosting, roundtables and podcasting.

You will be working under the Editor and Senior Editor, taking responsibility of the brands in their absence.

**Key skills**:

- Concise news writing with the ability to find the news ‘hook’ and link stories to wider industry trends
- The ability to produce engaging, clean strategic marketing copy and events copy
- Articulate and self-confident in engaging with clients and industry figures, including conducting interviews and assisting in hosting/presenting podcasts, webinars and industry events and round-tables
- The ability to research and assimilate new information and topics quickly
- Experience of proof-reading and editing news and commercial copy
- Clear communication style and ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage client consultations and communications in a confident and professional manner
- Experience of promoting content across social media channels
- Ability to use data analytics and SEO to assess trending topics, page views and traffic on site to produce quality content that is interesting for key audience groups
- Excellent communication and organisation, with a focus on client delivery and working well within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to ensure positive results for clients

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £34,950.00-£38,120.00 per year
