**The role**
You will be a strategic and tactical partner, providing excellence in all aspects of the HR function; coaching and enabling managers in people management, providing a proactive end to end comprehensive HR service.
Duties include:
Provision of complete HR function across the client business, ensuring that the service provided by the HR team is professional, timely and reflects company core values.
Create and build positive and collaborative working relationships with management teams and other key stakeholders to understand how the role can best facilitate business strategies and critical issues.
Provide advice, support, coaching and enable the upskilling of managers on HR matters including all aspects of employee relations and dispute resolution, absence and performance management, and a wide range of other HR related issues.
Provide support with any Union related matters including advising managers, leading negotiations and ensuring a positive working relationship.
Assist in developing and promoting diversity and inclusion strategies within your business areas and across the group. Acting as an agent for change.
Actively participate in Senior Management Team meetings, providing valuable input to the people agenda and wider business discussion. Contributing to the improvement of margin and financial performance.
Support both HR and Business Strategy by delivering on key projects, ensuring progress and milestones are met.
Regularly interact with bid teams, complete HR due diligence and identify people strategies that will enhance the business' ability to secure future work.

**Could this be for you?**
- Ability to influence senior stakeholder groups, strong organisational skills and manage ambiguity
- Ability to demonstrate a commercial understanding and awareness of cost management, ROI, margin optimization and impact of workforce planning,
- Experience of managing complex TUPE and redundancies
- Proven experience of creating and delivering employment law based training sessions
- 3 years+ managing a high volume ER case load with experience of employment tribunals
- Solid employment law knowledge
- Field based position must be able to regularly travel
- Experience of working in unionized environments
- CIPD qualification (preferred)
