The Nelson Trust provides holistic support for women involved with the Criminal Justice System (CJS) under the supervision of the National Probation Service. Women include those serving a community order and women released from HMP Eastwood Park.
The Nelson Trust offers holistic support for women with multiple and complex needs and their children. The Nelson Trust Women’s Centre will build upon our existing award winning Women’s Centres operating in Gloucester, Swindon, Somerset and Bristol.
We are looking for experienced and empathetic individuals to join our women’s team in South Wales. As a Keyworker you will offer gender-responsive, trauma informed practical and emotional support and interventions to address needs with housing, substance misuse, health, finance, previous trauma, children & families and education, training and employment with the aim of reducing social harms and re-offending whilst empowering women to access opportunities to reach their full potential.
You will need to demonstrate good engagement skills working with women and have a track record of developing effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area as well as a commitment to utilise a gender responsive, trauma informed approach to make a difference to women’s lives.

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
